 Ros-Lehtinen Comments on Afghanistan Elections
 
  (WASHINGTON) - U.S. Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL), Ranking Republican on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, commented on today’s elections in Afghanistan.  Statement by Ros-Lehtinen:

"Today, Afghan citizens bravely went to the polls with the hope of securing a better future for themselves and their children. 

"Today’s successful elections were a critical step for Afghanistan in its slow but steady trajectory toward security, stability, and prosperity."
