Advisory: Ros-Lehtinen to Participate in News Conference on Iran Threat

with House GOP Leaders, Ambassador Dore Gold

 
 
 

(WASHINGTON) – U.S. Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL), Ranking Republican on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, tomorrow (Wednesday, September 16) will join other Members of Congress and former Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Dore Gold for a news conference to discuss the Iran threat.  Statement of Ros-Lehtinen: 

 

“I am very pleased to join Ambassador Gold and my colleagues to discuss how the U.S. must take the lead in addressing the Iranian threat by implementing severe sanctions. 

 

“We cannot allow Tehran to further delay and deceive while it making even more progress on its nuclear capabilities. 

 

“It is in of the interest of the United States, global security, and the safety of our vital ally, Israel, to move beyond failed dialogue and implement painful sanctions against the Iranian regime to force a reversal of their deadly policies.”
